“Do you find yourself threatening, repeating your instructions, or raising your voice in an attempt to get your children to obey? Are you discouraged because it seems you just can’t reach the heart of your child? Through personal experience and the practical application of Scripture, Ginger Hubbard encourages and equips moms to reach past the outward behavior of their children and dive deeply into the issues of the heart” (from Amazon’s book description).
Sandie Dugas will be leading moms through a 12-week study of Don’t Make Me Count to Three: A Mom’s Look at Heart-Oriented Discipline. Each week will include reading a chapter of the book, completing about an hour of homework from the study guide, and gathering together for group discussion.
The location has yet to be determined, but it will be in Parker. Please register with Sandie by clicking on her name and sending her an email.
Childcare will be available, but it will be capped, so please also indicate if you will be needing it. The fee for childcare will be $35 for the first child and $15 for each child thereafter. In the interest of having a robust study time, and blessing moms who are looking for a bit of quiet and adult conversation, only nursing children will be allowed in the study. All other children must go to childcare.
Please purchase your own book and your own study guide (note the study guide is formatted for 6 weeks, but we will be dividing each week and making the study into 12 weeks). Contact Sandie Dugas with any questions and see you Friday, September 6, 2019!
