Advent Resources for Gospel-Centered Reflection
As we enter into another season of Advent, we are more busy, distracted, stressed, and frenzied as a people than ever before. Advent, which is Latin for 'coming', is an opportunity to pause, reflect, as we look back at Christ's First Coming, and as we look forward to Christ's Second Coming. We live in the in-between, the already-but-not-yet kingdom. Our souls were made to see and to savor our Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer - the Lord Jesus Christ.
Let's join in the rhythm of the church throughout the centuries that has paused, reflected, and waited with eager expectation for Jesus' coming.
